Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of junior and intermediate accountants, overseeing their professional development and performance management. Manage diverse client engagements from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while coordinating workflows during peak seasons. Review financial statements, tax filings, and accounting work with a sharp eye for detail to maintain compliance and quality. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, translating complex tax and accounting issues into actionable advice. Coordinate resource planning to keep the firm running smoothly. This role requires an active CPA with a strong audit background and proven leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA designation
- Solid foundation in public accounting with heavy experience in audit processes and compliance
- Track record of managing people, not just files
- Comfortable coaching, managing performance, and developing a team
- Deep understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations
- Excellent communication skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a client-focused, collaborative style
