Job Summary
Senior Accountant will support the Accounting team with monthly close and financial reporting for multiple entities, assist with accounts payable accruals and intercompany transactions, oversee payroll processing, contribute to quarterly compliance reporting and audits, perform technical accounting research, and help develop and implement process improvements. Responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheets and bank statements, managing intercompany billings, cross-training to support Site Controller and AP Clerk roles, preparing external audit schedules, and conducting ad-hoc analyses while ensuring internal controls are effective. The role requires independent work in a rapidly changing environment and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Aptean Ross ERP experience (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to research and solve problems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a changing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
