Job Summary
Conduct monthly and quarterly financial close procedures, preparing journal entries, rollforwards, account reconciliations, and variance analyses across more than 10 entities. Partner with regional finance teams to ensure adherence to group reporting schedules, U.S. GAAP, and SOX controls while establishing new intercompany relationships and eliminations. Supervise the settlement process through the 24-month TSA period and support external/internal audits by preparing schedules and documentation. Participate in ERP integrations as the business exits the transition agreement, onboarding new entities and transitioning tasks to the shared service center. Challenge current processes to identify improvement opportunities and mitigate issues impeding business goals. Join an evolving finance team within the $1B revenue Filtration and Separation division of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong expertise in General Ledger (GL) accounting and month-end close processes
- Experience with large-scale ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
