Senior Accountant

Manage general ledger accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations, and lead or assist in closing activities to ensure timely completion of financial statements. Partner with operations to monitor inventory accuracy, investigate variances, and support forecasting, purchasing, and audit requirements while performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts and key GL accounts. Prepare and file monthly sales tax and annual reports to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and support Accounts Payable and Receivable processing. Contribute to process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices to maintain and enforce internal control procedures.
