Senior Accountant, Japan & Korea

Job Summary
Review vendor invoices, process accounts payable and receivable transactions, and reconcile customer and bank accounts. Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports for the Korea operation while managing cash flow forecasts and statutory filings. Support revenue recognition calculations, project profitability analysis, and annual audits in compliance with Korean regulations and Group policies. Perform ad hoc accounting tasks and assist the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and internal control improvements. Requires native Korean and business-level Japanese proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
- Experience in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Professional proficiency in English
- Native-level Korean proficiency
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese
Desired Qualifications
- KICPA, FAT, TAT, CPA, ACCA, or another relevant accounting qualification
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Experience working in a multinational company
- Knowledge of Korean tax and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience in project accounting and revenue recognition
