Job Summary
Senior Accountant for Axon’s international finance team responsible for period-end close across multiple entities, managing general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and cash accounts; supports variance analysis and audit test work with external and internal auditors; handles statutory reporting under US GAAP, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and identifies process improvements and automation opportunities; requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to operate across time zones; preferred experience with Microsoft D365 and Blackline and advanced Excel skills; role involves working in Bucharest, Romania.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Big 4 trained ACA with 3-4 years PQE
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Experience with Microsoft D365 and Blackline (preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple entities and time zones
- Audit support experience (quarterly/yearly)
- Process improvements and automation initiatives
