Job Summary
Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements for alternative investment clients, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Manage audit deliverables as the primary point of contact for external auditors while reviewing working papers for accuracy. Resolve technical accounting queries through analysis and support process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while monitoring deadlines to ensure timely delivery of outputs. Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and project work as required.
Required Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Experience within financial reporting, fund accounting or alternative investments
- Strong financial statement preparation and review experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Experience managing external audit processes
- Understanding of hedge funds, private equity, fund of funds or similar structures
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with reporting automation, Power BI or AI-enabled tools
