Senior Accountant

Oversee daily accounting operations, monthly financial reporting, and GAAP compliance for a construction company building modular structures. Prepare, review, and post journal entries including consolidation and elimination entries, while reconciling general ledger accounts and performing monthly bank reconciliations. Manage accounts receivable and payable functions to ensure accurate invoicing and vendor payments, and evaluate inventory management tools to improve accuracy and scalability. Reconcile inventory balances to the general ledger and prepare Work-in-Progress reporting to reflect project financial status under the percentage-of-completion method. Track project expenses against budgets, analyze historical data for revenue forecasting, and prepare monthly financial statements with management commentary on variances. Requires 5–7 years of construction accounting experience and proficiency in ERP systems.
