Senior Accountant HGB (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, manage ledger accounting, and reconcile accounts. Post daily transactions, generate financial reports and key metric analyses, and address valuation and balance sheet questions. Act as the primary contact for auditors and tax advisors, supporting audits and closing processes. Contribute to cross-functional projects and optimize financial processes and IT interfaces. Requires a degree in economics with a focus on finance or accounting, experience in regulated banking or advisory environments, and strong HGB accounting knowledge. Full-time role in Munich with flexible hours and home office options.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossenes Studium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Finanz- oder Rechnungswesen oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Berufserfahrung als Bilanzbuchhalter, Referent Rechnungswesen, Accountant oder Controller im Bankenumfeld, in der Wirtschaftsprüfung oder einer Beratungsgesellschaft
- fundierte Kenntnisse in der Rechnungslegung nach HGB
- Erfahrung im Rechnungswesen und in regulierten Finanzdienstleistungs- oder Bankenumfeldern
