Senior Accountant - Group Reporting

Job Summary
Consolidate financial results across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions to produce accurate group-level reporting under IFRS. Support technical accounting processes for leases, share-based payments, and financial instruments while ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation and enhance efficiency controls. Provide cross-functional support for operational and administrative tasks within the London-based Group Reporting team. Work in shifts overlapping with UK and US business hours to meet tight deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. Join a newly formed offshore team in Mumbai to extend global finance capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Chartered accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA)
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- Big Four (client-facing) experience
- Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles, particularly as they relate to intercompany transactions and consolidation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to a global audience
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a collaborative team-player attitude
- Flexibility to adhere to working shifts that overlap with UK business hours (and US business hours where/if required)
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
