Senior Accountant - General Ledger

Job Summary
Senior Accountant focused on maintaining general ledger integrity and leading timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include preparing and recording journal entries (accruals, deferrals, reclasses, depreciation, intercompany, etc.), performing reconciliations, monitoring fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring internal controls and regulatory compliance, supporting budgeting/forecasting and audits, and collaborating with Finance teammates. Requires strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience with cost accounting and tax filings; CPA/Master’s or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and general ledger functions
- Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and cost accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in manufacturing accounting preferred
- CPA/Master’s or other professional certification strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of tax regulations is a plus
