Job Summary
Senior Accountant leading month-end close and general ledger activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, GL reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Maintains and reviews accounting schedules, supports internal controls, coordinates with A/P on coding, assists with external audits, and drives process improvements. Responsibilities span cash and credit card reconciliations, fixed assets management, intercompany transactions, and development of financial analyses and executive-level commentary. Requires a BA/BS in Accounting, a minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data modeling)
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment desirable
- Interest or experience with AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) is a plus
