Job Summary
Own month-end close, from journal entries and flux analysis to balance sheet and cash reconciliations, delivering a timely, accurate US GAAP close. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules for management and investor reporting. Run general corporate accounting across prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, leases, stock-based compensation, and payroll, while reviewing and approving vendor bills, expense reimbursements, and cash receipts. Support external audits, including PBC preparation, and maintain internal controls and process documentation. Assist with the in-progress ERP implementation from data migration through post-go-live optimization, using AI and automation to cut manual work and shorten the close timeline. This full-time role spans multiple internal levels with a base salary ranging between $140K - $180K plus benefits & equity. Located in San Francisco with a strong in-office culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2–3 years in industry corporate accounting
- Experience with the full close cycle under US GAAP
- Experience preparing financial statements for management and investor reporting
- Experience supporting external audits including PBC preparation
- High proficiency in Excel
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or a similar ERP
- CPA or CPA-eligible
Desired Qualifications

- ASC 842 lease accounting
- Exposure to SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
