Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end accounting activities, including controlling and coordinating the monthly closing process. Liaise with customers, tax advisors, lawyers, and auditors while offering professional solutions and advice to colleagues and clients. Mentor junior staff on all accounting matters and provide French-language communication support to French-speaking stakeholders. This role strengthens the finance team of a fast-growing international technology company providing digital commerce and payment solutions across Europe. Fluency in French (B2 level) and English is required, along with a university degree in accounting or a related field and at least 2.5 years of professional experience.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English (both spoken & written)
- French language at least B2 level
- University degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance/Mathematics/Business administration or similar
- At least 2.5 years of professional experience in accounting
- Knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach
- Good time management and planning skills
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and responsibility
- Must be available for remote/hybrid work model
- Must be willing to work in an international environment
- Must be able to liaise with customers, (tax) advisors, lawyers, auditors and other professionals
- Must be able to mentor junior staff on all accounting matters

- Must be able to take responsibility for complex accounting and financial reporting
