Job Summary
Conduct month-end and year-end close procedures, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards while supporting the CFO with financial planning and operational reporting. Participate in annual audits, coordinate with external auditors, and help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Join a 5-person finance team reporting to the CFO in a steady-paced, people-friendly culture.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite preferred
- Nonprofit experience a plus but not required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a low-ego, team-first attitude
- Comfortable in a heads-down environment that values both independence and camaraderie
