Job Summary
Senior Fixed Asset Accountant responsible for end-to-end fixed asset processes (additions, transfers, retirements), maintaining fixed asset register, reconciling data between OPS and accounting systems, calculating monthly depreciation, supporting internal/external audits, and ensuring IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP compliance. Requires travel to support audits/operational needs; proficiency with SAP ERP and asset-tracking systems; strong Excel skills; accountable for asset capitalization, reconciliation to GL, and improving internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Min of 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed asset accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with fixed asset modules in ERP (SAP) and operational asset tracking system
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
