Job Summary
Senior Accountant, Financial Analysis & Reporting responsible for financial reporting, profitability analysis, inventory and freight accounting, tax compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives. Serves as a cross-functional resource within the finance team, partnering with operations and supply chain to improve visibility into costs and profitability. Key duties include preparing monthly revenue reporting, developing profitability reporting by product line and sales channel, analyzing business performance to identify margin drivers, supporting FP&A initiatives and BI reporting, and leveraging systems like NetSuite and advanced Excel to build models. Preferred skills include experience with Snowflake, Domo, Power BI, Tableau, and experience supporting e-commerce, distribution, or consumer products businesses; CPA designation or CPA-track candidate; interest in AI, automation, and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis, and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to balance attention to detail with big-picture business thinking
