Job Summary
Senior Accountant in the Corporate Accounting Department responsible for GAAP-compliant accounting processes, capital asset management, and complex financial analysis. Responsibilities include recording capital assets, developing and reconciling fixed asset ledgers, preparing and analyzing complex financial statements, interpreting contract language for GAAP and FRB guidelines, analyzing business operations and forecasting outcomes, identifying discrepancies and implementing solutions, documenting procedures (e.g., labor capitalization, cloud-transition costs, software accounting), and providing guidance to team members and stakeholders. Role requires planning and coordination of quarterly/annual reporting and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5-9+ years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years working with GAAP
