Job Summary
Prepare month-end and year-end financial close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and support preparation of financial statements. Conduct technical accounting research and documentation to support policies, procedures, and significant transactions. Maintain internal controls, documentation, and compliance procedures to support audit readiness. Perform monthly due diligence reporting to validate financial statement fluctuations and support the Controller in annual audits. Gather data for external tax professionals and provide accounting support for system implementations. Identify and execute process improvements to increase efficiency using automation and electronic tools. Work 100% from home with no travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience, with exposure to complex close cycles
- CPA license
- Strong proficiency with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Netsuite and G-suite
- Experience with multi-entity operations or healthcare accounting processes and procedures
