Job Summary
Senior Accountant with deep Workday Financials expertise responsible for leading month-end close, maintaining general ledger, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, supporting audits, and driving budgeting/forecasting processes. Leverages Workday reporting/planning tools to improve budgeting accuracy and visibility; serves as Finance SME for Workday, trains team members, and collaborates with department leaders. Location is NYC with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office). Compensation includes a base salary of $90,000-$110,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials
- Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
