The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing client engagements, supervising junior staff, and ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information at DSWD CPAs. This role will involve overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and coordinating audits among other responsibilities. Candidates should possess strong accounting skills and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close processes
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
- Previous experience in a senior accounting role within a CPA firm environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience working with Registered Investment Advisory firms
