Job Summary
Senior Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations for a $20M+ revenue organization in Hyderabad, India. Responsibilities include AP, general ledger, and journal entries; lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP; ensure ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 606 revenue recognition; manage bank reconciliations and vendor accounts; support internal and external audits; coordinate with Operations, Legal, and HR; identify and implement process automation to improve efficiency using QuickBooks and automation tools; strong Excel skills and ability to improve accounting workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI preferred; CPA or equivalent qualification will be considered
- Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with US GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842
- Experience in US-India cross-border accounting or shared services is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables)
- Familiarity with accounting process automation tools
