Job Summary
Senior Accountant at DayOne leading the finance function across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Owns end-to-end accounting processes, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for regional operations. Partners with stakeholders across countries and functions to ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance, external audits, tax filings, statutory compliance, and strong internal controls including SOX. Works with SAP S/4HANA and supports ad hoc finance projects and system improvements while maintaining accuracy and reporting discipline in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment. Ideal candidates have Big 4/MNC experience, a professional accounting qualification, and multi-country exposure in data-center or capital-intensive industries. Why DayOne? Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with active CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent professional qualification
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or regional finance roles
- Big 4 audit or multinational company (MNC) experience preferred
- Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end close
- Exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP environments
- Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- Working knowledge of SOX/internal controls
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA preferred
- Nice to Have Multi-country accounting or regional finance exposure
- Experience coordinating with overseas stakeholders and external auditors
- Exposure to high-growth or fast-scaling environments
- Background in infrastructure, data center, real estate, or capital-intensive industries
