Job Summary
Manage the monthly financial close and consolidation for DASCO and its subsidiaries by preparing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and cost allocations. File local, state, and federal tax returns while generating ad hoc financial reports to support strategic leadership decisions. Proactively identify accounting inefficiencies and design solutions to streamline operations through cross-functional collaboration with business partners. Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance overall accounting efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of accounting experience applying US GAAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced capability to analyze, interpret, and present financial data
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation)
- Proven ability to independently multitask, prioritize projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, growing business
- Verbal and written communication skills with the comfort to present data to diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented professional who works well under moderate supervision and takes initiative to solve problems
