Job Summary
Assist in redesigning financial processes to automate routine tasks like journal entries and account reconciliations using tools such as Power Automate and Power BI. Prepare complex journal entries for month-end close, perform variance analysis, and manage account reconciliation reviews to ensure compliance with US GAAP. Support consolidated U.S. audits and statutory audits for UK and French entities, acting as the primary contact for external auditors and managing local accounting firms. Identify workflow inefficiencies, propose scalable improvements, and document standard operating procedures to centralize institutional knowledge. Collaborate with FP&A, legal, HR, and international counterparts to ensure accurate reporting and support M&A integration activities. Requires CPA certification and substantial global accounting experience; offers hybrid schedule, comprehensive benefits, and competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Substantial & progressive accounting experience gained within a global or national accounting, professional services or consulting firm
Desired Qualifications
- Big 4 public accounting experience or a blend of Big 4 and industry
- Experience in a publicly traded company and/or public accounting firm
- Experience in a high-growth technology or financial services company
- Experience supporting M&A integration or post-acquisition accounting
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar enterprise accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
