Job Summary
Lead client engagement and manage the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, including order-to-cash, procurement-to-pay, and record-to-report processes. Reconcile bank statements, prepare monthly invoices, and monitor accounts receivable and payable aging reports weekly. Oversee payroll expenses, manage team task distribution, and conduct regular project meetings to ensure timely deliverables. Design and implement accounting SOPs to drive process improvements and leverage AI tools for automation. Review and mentor junior accountants while coordinating with the Fractional Controller on financial statement closings, budget preparation, and variance analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 5 to 7 years as a Senior Accountant or in a similar leadership role, preferably in an outsourced or international setup
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, tax laws, and reporting standards
- Excellent English communication skills — verbal and written — with the ability to confidently manage client relationships and explain complex concepts clearly
- Exceptional leadership skills: able to inspire and guide teams while maintaining accountability and high standards
- A sharp eye for detail and a structured, meticulous approach to problem-solving and reviewing work
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and team workloads in a high-pressure environment
- Must be amenable to working on a U.S. Pacific Time schedule, with the possibility of a full night shift
