Job Summary
Senior Accountant at Core Molding Technologies responsible for owning accounting and reporting for capital projects, tooling, and fixed assets; integrating with operations, engineering, and plant teams; supporting month-/quarter-/year-end closes; preparing reconciliations and analyses; coordinating external audits and SOX/internal controls; assisting with tax processes; driving improvements in capital tracking and reporting; and contributing to ad hoc leadership analyses. Key skills include GAAP compliance, advanced Excel (including VBA), capital accounting, fixed assets, project tracking, cross-functional communication, and manufacturing/plant environment experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels
