Job Summary
Prepare and enter journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and maintain supporting schedules as part of the month-end close process. Review variances, provide forecast updates for expense categories, and execute internal controls monthly and quarterly. Maintain daily management reporting on sales, generate and distribute invoices, post payments, and reconcile cash. Monitor customer accounts for timely payment, implement collection strategies to reduce aged receivables, and prepare weekly working capital reports for management. Support audit requests and adhere to established policies and procedures. This role requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 2-4 or 4-6 years of experience, proficiency in Oracle EBS or Infor Syteline, and familiarity with manufacturing business knowledge. Applicants must be eligible for US Government export control authorizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting or business degree)
- Associate's degree (Accounting or business degree)
- 2-4 years minimum related experience
- 4-6 years minimum related experience
- Manufacturing business knowledge preferred
- Experience with Oracle EBS, Infor Syteline, or similar ERP software
- Ability to drive results and prioritize effectively
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheets
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress, and time management skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Eligible for any required authorization from the US Government
