Job Summary
Senior Accountant at Global Business Services Manila (ContiTech location in the Philippines) focusing on data integrity and preparation of financial information, month-end close coordination with local finance, internal controls and compliance with corporate policies and IFRS. Responsibilities include account analysis/reconciliations, journal entry review and approval, ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility of financial data, executing internal control procedures to safeguard assets, driving process improvements, supporting audits, running reports, and collaborating with teams to meet KPIs. Requires BS Accountancy and CPA or equivalent with +2 years in General Ledger, SAP FICO expertise, knowledge of AR/AP/MM modules, strong Excel/MS Office skills, and experience working with international teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent experience (+2 years in General ledger)
- 3-5 years work related experience
- SAP expert in General ledger (FICO); knowledgeable in other SAP accounting modules (AR, AP, MM)
- Complex accounting resolution skills
- Knowledgeable in MS office suite
- Experience with working with international teams preferred
- Leadership experience not required
