Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and accrual accounting (SG&A and COGS)
• •Demonstrated experience reviewing the work of others and providing effective feedback, ideally in a shared services or COE environment
• •A track record of process improvement, streamlining financial operations, and implementing best practices
• •Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and ERP platforms
• •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, etc.)
• •Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work with numbers accurately
• •Strong critical thinking skills – the ability to question results that don't make sense, connect activity across accounts, and anticipate downstream impacts
• •A team-player mindset – you build trust with the COE team and business partners, share knowledge generously, and put team outcomes first
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain accounting concepts to non-accounting audiences
• •Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders and providing accurate, decision-ready financial information
