Senior Accountant / Client Advisory Services (CAS)

Job Summary
Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for diverse client portfolios while ensuring GAAP compliance. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, analyze results to identify trends and variances, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. Coordinate with external auditors by preparing audit schedules and documentation, and assist Controllers with internal controls and process improvements. Build strong client relationships by responding promptly to accounting questions and supporting onboarding for new engagements using QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and NetSuite. Manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
- 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, Client Advisory Services (CAS), or corporate accounting
- Experience preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and management reporting
- Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience supporting audits and preparing audit workpapers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment
- Public accounting experience within a CAS or outsourced accounting practice
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis
- Experience training or mentoring junior accounting staff
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to improve accounting processes
Desired Qualifications
- CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
