Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for driving month-, quarter-, and year-end close with accurate financial reporting. Lead balance sheet reconciliations, support audit/tax processes, manage AP/AR operations, ensure expense-report compliance, and champion policy adherence. Leverage data analytics and predictive reporting to inform strategic decisions and drive automation of finance processes using AI/automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude). Opportunity to work in a hybrid setup at Cleveland or Columbus offices (8 in-person days per month) with 0-5% travel. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business subject
- 2-4 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Operations
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Exposure to accounting software or ERP systems, Certinia is a plus
- Experience with month-end close activities
- Exposure to financial reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
