Job Summary
Conduct complex accounting and auditing activities for financial records and reporting while providing technical direction to the accounting staff. Act as the liaison for grant activity financial reporting, perform bank statement reconciliation, and deliver financial analysis to various departments. Manage capital asset policies, procedures, and accounting support for budget activities, and assist the Deputy Finance Director in validating annual financial statements. Requires a B.S. in accounting or related field with CPA certification desired, starting at $28.6592-$30.3456/hr. Applications accepted until filled.
Required Qualifications
- Completed City of Midwest City employment application
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance and accounting
- Broad knowledge of accounting
- Broad knowledge of marketing
- Broad knowledge of business administration
- Broad knowledge of finance
- Equivalent to a four year college degree
- 12 to 18 months related management experience
- B.S. in accounting, finance, business or related field
- Previous supervisory experience
- CPA certification
