Job Summary
Senior Accountant, CEEMEA responsible for US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting for entities in scope. Supports Country Controller in reporting and compliance, ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial and tax reporting, and strengthens internal controls. Involves balance sheet reviews, internal and external audits, and collaboration with regional and global teams and external auditors. Builds relationships with finance and non-finance teams to drive end-to-end finance processes and process improvements. Requires experience in multinational environments, US GAAP knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint; role expects English fluency, and willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Warsaw with a Polish office location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit
- High knowledge of US and local GAAPs and tax matters
- Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in JDE and Blackline is an advantage
