Job Summary
Senior Accountant to lead full cycle accounting for a portfolio of business clients, supervise staff accountants and bookkeepers, deliver financial reporting and KPI analysis to support client decisions, and collaborate with tax and advisory teams on integrated client service. Role involves client-facing responsibilities, ownership of the accounting function, and a defined path toward senior leadership. Requires active CPA, EA considered, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online/Desktop and advanced Excel; experience with month-end/year-end close, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, internal controls, and tax planning exposure. Strong communication skills and multi-client experience are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or multi client firm background strongly preferred
- Active CPA required; EA considered
- Small business and corporate client experience required
- Tax planning exposure required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and advanced Excel
- Strong client communication skills
- Manage full cycle accounting for a portfolio of business clients
