Senior Accountant

Job Summary
Conduct month-end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. Perform monthly P&L and balance sheet variance analysis to identify action items and reduce gaps. Develop financial models, templates, and standard operating procedures for commission, rebate, and budget processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, prepare corporate financial submissions, and support the Controller in budget analysis. Review fixed asset audits with warehouse and IT teams to match records and identify adjustments. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a CPA preferred and 10+ years of experience. Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, HFM, TM1, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and finance
- 5+ years prior experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies
- Advanced level Excel skills with experience in large spreadsheets
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Outstanding attention to detail, flexibility and creativity
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
- High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external customers
- Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained
- Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of shared information and/or assignments
