Job Summary
Senior Accountant position based in Bellevue, Washington. The role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the Company’s financial reporting with a hands-on approach. Responsibilities include completing monthly closings, maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, leading accounts payable operations, preparing journal entries, monitoring fixed assets, and managing the Bardy Diagnostics Business Unit’s tax functions (including state sales/use taxes). The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, and organized, with expertise in GAAP, Excel (advanced formulas), Power BI, and NetSuite ERP, and possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. This is an onsite role five days per week based in Bellevue, WA, United States, with collaboration across Finance functions and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of progressive operational accounting experience, including hands-on work with journal entries, accounts payable review, and fixed asset accounting treatment
- Tax Knowledge: Working knowledge of sales and use tax and local tax regulations; experience reviewing tax-related work is a plus
- Systems & Data Management: Proficient with Excel (advanced formulas); Power BI is a plus; NetSuite ERP experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting preferred; CPA designation is a plus
