Job Summary
Lead ballpark event accounting and reporting, manage partnerships invoicing and accounts receivable aging, and prepare entries for debt accounting and interest charges. Ensure proper accounting of intercompany expenses, fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and prepaid/amortization schedules while leading month-end and year-end close activities to achieve a 10-day close. Apply strong GAAP knowledge to support accurate financial statements, assist with internal and external audits, and identify process improvements for efficiency. Collaborate across departments to gather financial data and provide guidance as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during the season or fiscal deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA certification
- Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Occasional evening and weekend work

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in professional sports, entertainment, or hospitality industries
- Familiarity with MLB financial policies, revenue sharing, and league reporting requirements
- Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken)

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and records
