Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for government contract accounting operations in a DELTEK Costpoint environment, overseeing full scope of costs, billing, and month-end close in a DCAA-compliant setting; partner with program management, contracts, and Corporate Controller to ensure accurate reporting under FAR Part 31 and CAS, manage cost pools, indirect rate calculations, and prepare ICS; serve as Costpoint SME, configure project structures, handle payroll imports, billing setups for T&M/cost-plus/FFP/hybrid contracts, perform period-end processing, ensure proper revenue recognition, and support audits and management reporting. Key duties include maintaining the Costpoint COA and security profiles, generating management queries, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring proper segregation of duties; requires U.S. citizenship, potential security clearance, and adherence to NIST 800-171 data handling standards. Compensation ranges from $97,500 to $129,500 annually plus benefits.
