Senior Accountant/Auditor

Job Summary
Review information from the Fund's custodian, reconcile records to regulatory submissions, and perform verification procedures on participant pension fund data. Prepare general ledger entries, execute bank reconciliations, and maintain timely payments and wire transfers for administrative and investment operations. Assist with external audits, prepare government-required reports, and generate written findings with recommendations on internal control systems. Maintain accounting software and support the Controller's oversight of fiscal, financial, and statistical records. Submit application materials to Megan Holford with the specified subject line.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited university of college with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or auditing, business, or related field of study
- Seven to ten years of experience in government, public accounting or auditing, pension fund administration, or an investment management institution
- Experience working in professional services or public pension industry
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel
- Highly detailed-oriented and self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification
