Seeking a Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller with 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, to join a finance team. Responsibilities include general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities while exercising sound analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail, even when working under pressure
- Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on tasks
Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation preferred but not required
- Experience with business taxation and preparing or reviewing tax returns preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment aligned with company values
