Job Summary
Process, record, and reconcile financial transactions including accounts payable, cash disbursements, billings, and cash receipts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, supervise collections, and review fixed assets, sales and use taxes, and franchise taxes. Prepare day-to-day and month-end close entries covering payroll administration, fringe, investment allocations, and grant allocations. Develop an understanding of accounting operations within assigned clients and obtain working knowledge of their accounting software packages. This fully remote role supports ROSE's Finance as a Service model by harmonizing people, process, technology, organization, and data to empower client growth.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3 - 7 years accounting or finance experience
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff, clients and colleagues
