Job Summary
Senior Accountant at Shawnee, KS, responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for CMO Americas business units; provide forecasts and trend analysis to flag overspends; manage Fixed Assets and Asset WIP, reconcile tax-fixed asset registers, analyze P&L and report to Business Units; maintain costings and quarterly standard cost reviews; deliver timely updates to project sponsors to monitor spend against budget, and perform detailed variance analyses (RMUV, PPV); require 4-5 years’ accounts experience, US tax knowledge, strong analytical skills, customer service orientation, relationship-building, accountability, organizational ability, and ability to collaborate or work autonomously; Argenta offers a global environment with a strong culture and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience within an accounts team within a commercial business
- Understanding of tax obligations within US environment
- Strong organizational ability and proficient at planning
- Demonstrated analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively on a team as well as work autonomously
- Possess a high degree of personal accountability
- Develops and maintains effective professional relationships with internal and external key relationships
