Senior Accountant

Maintain and review the general ledger, record complex journal entries, and reconcile accounts including bank and balance sheet items. Assist in the month-end and year-end close process by reviewing entries and adjustments while ensuring deadlines for financial reporting are met. Ensure reports comply with accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS, analyze financial results to explain variances, and prepare monthly financial packs. Coordinate with internal and external auditors by preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation, and address any auditor questions or findings. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement new systems or automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requires 5-7 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree, and CPA designation preferred.
