Job Summary
Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion while proactively identifying improvement opportunities. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, and perform balance sheet reconciliations with thorough analysis of outstanding items. Analyze financial results to prepare variance analyses for management reporting and assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures. Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries while maintaining effective internal controls and adherence to established policies. Lead initiatives to improve accounting processes through automation, AI-enabled tools, and workflow enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability. Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, AP, Legal, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- demonstrated ownership of accounting processes
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Desired Qualifications
- Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4
- Experience in consumer products, retail, apparel, or eCommerce environments
- ASC 842 lease accounting experience
