Job Summary
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, and perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure GAAP compliance. Collaborate with Controllers, FP&A, and cross-functional teams on journal entries, accruals, and audit documentation while utilizing data analytics tools like Alteryx and Power BI to improve reporting efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support ERP system implementations, and ensure adherence to SOX requirements and internal controls. Serve as a trusted business partner to the Door & Window Systems unit and other Americas and Corporate functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment
- Ability to travel less than 5% when needed
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA
- Advanced Excel, Power BI or similar tools
- Ability to develop and utilize data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate) to analyze large datasets and improve reporting efficiency
- Ability to assist with system implementations, enhancements, and process automation initiatives
- Ability to ensure a strong internal control environment and compliance with SOX requirements, including participation in control testing and documentation
