Job Summary
Lead high-impact financial initiatives within Fortune 1000 corporations by applying a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, and financial reporting. Execute hands-on advisory services including IPO readiness, M&A transactions, carve-outs, and complex financial statement preparation. Develop accounting policies and support strategic finance transformation projects while working directly with executive leadership teams. Leverage a Big 4 audit or advisory background to deliver technical GAAP analysis and implementation in client environments rather than traditional audit cycles. This client-facing platform offers accelerated growth for ambitious public accounting professionals seeking broader exposure and deeper technical complexity.
Required Qualifications
- current or recent Big 4 accounting experience
- 3–9 years total public accounting experience
- Minimum of 3 busy seasons completed
- Strong progression in title and responsibility
- Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP
- Experience with financial reporting and technical accounting research
- Must reside within 20 miles of the Dallas office
- No government or non-profit accounting backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
- CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing completion)
- Exposure to transaction advisory, accounting advisory, or complex audit engagements preferred
- Strong client-facing communication skills
