Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information; performs general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and assists with monthly/quarterly/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting packages. Partners with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes, uphold internal controls, and ensure GAAP compliance while backing up other accountants as needed in a fast-growing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in general accounting or related field
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and ERP systems
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
- High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information
- CPA certification preferred
