Job Summary

Lead strategy and thought leadership for luxury travel and hospitality accounts, implementing financial goals and evaluating KPIs while overseeing collective workflow. Nurture editor, writer, and freelance networks through targeted pitches, securing placements in A-list titles, and conducting minimum two media meetings monthly. Mentor direct reports by coaching media relations skills, guiding account teams, and conducting annual reviews to foster growth. Manage account profitability, transition into a leadership role focused on client retention, and deliver two educational workshops annually. Liaise directly with clients while supporting Publicists, and assist with new business ideation and deal closing.

Required Qualifications

  • College Degree or comparable experience
  • At least 7 years of agency public relations experience in the hospitality, culinary, travel, tourism, restaurant, and/or consumer lifestyle arenas
  • Must have stellar client and media references
  • Must have strong and proven relationships with local, regional, and national media contacts
  • Must have strong, effective, and proven management skills
  • Ability to travel for client needs
  • Must have a valid passport for international travel
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Adobe Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly

  • Responsible for developing two educational workshops each year
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and events on behalf of the agency
