Senior Account Manager (US)
$110,000–$150,000 year
On-siteAustin, Texas, United States
Job Summary
Own the definition and success of implementation rollouts for enterprise and internal clients, translating goals into sequenced plans for the Forward Deployed Engineering pod. Manage financials by tracking budget against burn and flagging variances, while leading kickoffs to establish success criteria and governance for agentic AI actions. Coordinate plugin configuration and security reviews, including SOC 2 delivery and formal go-live authorization, then monitor weekly adoption to intervene early on engagement drops. Surface risks with recommendations during escalations and lead executive business reviews to measure performance and propose expansion. Refine the rollout playbook after each implementation to ensure repeatability while customizing for client needs.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years in a client-facing delivery, implementation, or account ownership role at a SaaS, martech, or software implementations company
- Experience owning the commercial side of an engagement: budget, burn, scope changes, and the conversations that come with them
- Track record working closely with technical teams without being the one writing the code
- Deep fluency in marketing workflows
- Hands-on experience with AI tools
- Ability to run multiple implementations in parallel without losing the thread on any of them
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Organized and process-oriented
- Comfortable in a startup-within-an-agency environment where ambiguity is the default and the playbook is still being written
- Understanding of AI trust curves and agentic adoption patterns
Desired Qualifications
- Experience rolling a platform out across many teams or business units, where the challenge was standardization and change management rather than a single custom build
- Experience in a regulated industry client context (financial services, pharma, healthcare) where compliance is a go-live gate
- Familiarity with martech and adtech platforms
- Experience working inside or closely alongside an agency or creative production environment
- Background in brand compliance, content governance, or creative operations
- Experience with enterprise vendor security review processes (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FINRA/SEC compliance environments)
